THE SKY RACE
With the right mindset, everyone is capable of reaching the top of the majestic Merdeka 118 building. Most participants will walk the entire climb, from ground floor to Level 118. This makes it easy to train; all you need is access to stairs, so you can practice and strengthen your stair climbing muscles.
You can also prepare effectively by practicing any other relevant physical activity such as running, hiking, cycling – any activity that involves your legs and cardio will do the trick!
Preparing properly is essential for a safe and enjoyable climb at Merdeka 118.
Most participants walk the entire climb, from ground floor to Level 118. With consistent training and sensible preparation, many people are able to complete the challenge at their own pace.
How to Prepare
- Stair climbing – build strength and familiarity
- Running – improve cardio fitness
- Hiking – develop leg endurance
- Cycling – low-impact cardio training
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to take part.
