Whether you’re chasing a personal goal, ticking off a bucket-list experience or simply looking for your next challenge, this is a climb like no other.
Malaysia’s highest towerrunning event at Merdeka 118, the second tallest building in the world. The inaugural edition in 2026 welcomed thousands of participants who climbed 2,845 steps to Level 118, earning two Malaysia Book of Records titles. The challenge returns in 2027 – bigger, better, and higher than ever.
Participants with minimum aged of 13+ (Individual Category) and aged 8+ (Team Category*) are welcome, provided they are in suitable physical condition to take part. Whether you are an elite athlete or climbing at your own pace, preparation is essential.
Over 5,500 participants completed the climb in 2025 at their own pace. We strongly recommend preparing in advance, training appropriately, and ensuring you are medically fit before taking part.
